PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature line generating device for compressing a data amount by sharing the endpoint of an adjacent feature line when generating a feature line of a three-dimensional geometric model. SOLUTION: The feature line generating device generates a feature line of a three-dimensional geometric model and is provided with an input part for inputting a set of faces and/or ridge lines of the three-dimensional geometric model, a feature line storing part for storing the set input by the inputting part, a concealed line processing part for performing the concealed line processing of a feature line stored in the feature line storing part to update the feature lines, and a feature line grouping part for generating a grouped feature line from the feature lines stored in the feature line storing part.
