PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack boot capable of reducing the compressive load and avoiding abnormal deformation. SOLUTION: In the rack boot having a bellows part, a first cylindrical part formed on one end side of the bellows part and fixed to a tie-rod, and a second cylindrical part formed on the other end side of the bellows part and fixed to a steering gear box, the bellows part is divided into a first bellows part which is a portion from a third ridge from an end on the second cylindrical part side to an end on the first cylindrical part side, and a second bellows part which is a portion from the third ridge to an end on the second cylindrical part side, and at least the first bellows part is tapered.
