PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection controller capable of correcting dispersion among cylinders in the whole operation region of an engine. SOLUTION: An ECU lets instant rotation speed measured per cylinder pass through a low-pass filter 16 to extract only a low frequency component and integrates the extracted data per cylinder by the prescribed number for averaging processing. Consequently, unevenness in amount of injection among cylinders is detected, and amount of injection into each cylinder is corrected in the direction for reducing dispersion in amount of injection among cylinders to suppress dispersion in rotation speed per cylinder. Since the above-mentioned procedures are not limited to idling time of the engine and are performed in the whole operation region in this method, exhaust gas performance and drivability are improved by correcting dispersion among cylinders, for example, even in normal vehicle running.
