PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for quickly calculating a plurality of WB gains. SOLUTION: When calculating a plurality of WB gains for one image data, an image is divided into a plurality of blocks (S10). Then, a central value is calculated for each block (S12), and the contribution level of each light source type to the whole image is calculated, based on the obtained central value (S14). When the central value of each block and the contribution level of each light source type are obtained, the MWB gain is calculated (S16, S18), and the AWB gain is calculated (S20, S22, S24) by using the result. When calculating the two types of WB gains, the calculation of the central value of each block as calculation by pixel units is operated only one time so that it is possible to sharply shorten a calculation time.
