PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a chassis base of a plasma display panel using the same material as that of plastic, to form many supporting structures on the surface of the chassis base so as to support the plasma display panel to prevent the plasma display panel from being damaged by generation of an external force. SOLUTION: The plasma display apparatus comprises: the plasma display panel including a front panel and a rear panel; the chassis base which is made from plastic materials for supporting the plasma display panel; a driving circuit portion including circuit boards mounted on a rear surface of the chassis base and the supporting structures formed on the entire front surface of the chassis base so as to support the plasma display panel.
