A land clearing vehicle comprises a land clearing tool to be mounted thereon and to be activated thereby, and a track assembly for addressing and maneuvering through precarious terrain conditions. The land clearing tool is comprised of a generally vertical comb-like structure terminating in a set of substantially forward pointing teeth at the bottom thereof, and integrally coupling at the top thereof to a set of pivoting arms pivotally mounted on, and activated by, the vehicle. The tool can efficiently extract a tree stump from the ground and can be mounted on, and coupled with, other land clearing tools to provide efficient and productive land clearing options to the vehicle operator. The track assembly provides a protective casing for protecting the vehicle's track driving system, a set of roller guards for protecting the assembly's bottom rollers, and a tensioner assembly for providing a substantially constant tension in the track, thus protecting it and other track assembly components from unnecessary damage. The elevated driving sprocket wheel of the track assembly insures that the weight of the vehicle is distributed over the bottom rollers and not on the sprocket wheel, thereby significantly increasing the lifespan of the sprocket wheel.
