The device has an arm (3) fixed at a rigid pole (1) and rotatably supported with respect to the pole axis. A frame (4) is provided at both ends of the arm for accommodating the user (10). Wings (5) are fixed at the frame and move the user with muscle force such that an air flow is produced against the rotating direction. The wings provide the occurred propulsion as a drive force for rotation of the arm around the pole.
