PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard rail which protects passengers from being wounded by contact with a projection thereof, and prevents part of a vehicle body from being pinched by a joint portion thereof due to contact of a vehicle on the joint portion. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the guard rail, a guard rail section B has two bent portions at points C in order to facilitate connection of the guard rail section B to a guard rail section A, and bolts for connecting the two guard rail sections together are set at locations that are shifted from a convex portion of the guard rail sections.
