PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively suppress the vibration of a cable generated when an elevator is driven, and prevent the vibration from being transmitted to the floor surface leading to noise emission. SOLUTION: At certain intervals, a plurality of cable fixing devices 21 are installed along cables 22a-22c tying an inverter device of the elevator to a motor. Each cable fixing device 21 consists of stationary plates 31 and 32 and has a plurality of grooves for pinching the cables 22a-22c in the in-line arrangement crosswise. The stationary plate 32 is secured to the cable installing surface 30 in the condition that the cables 22a-22c are pinched in the respective grooves. This can suppress the vibration of cables 22a-22c generated at the time of being driven, and it is possible to prevent the noise caused by the vibration being transmitted through the cable installing surface 30.
