PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth feeding device which smoothly moves a piece from a guide part to the other guide part. SOLUTION: The cloth feeding device 1 turns rightward and leftward, holds cloth between a cloth receiving part 16 and a part 307 for holding buttons and pressing cloth by lowering the part 307 for holding buttons and pressing a fabric connected to a movable body 18 moving back and forth, and feeds the cloth by the backward and forward movements and the rightward and leftward rotations of the movable body 18. A swinging arm 31 turns about a fixed shaft 11 by the rotations of a backward and forward feeding cam body 6. A swinging arm 32 turns about a fixed shaft 35 by the rotations of a common cam body 36 for backward and forward feeding and rightward and leftward feeding. A switching arm 21 connected to the movable body 18 turns about a rotating shaft 25. The piece 22 is provided at the end part of the switching arm 21, and the piece 22 selectively engages a first guide part 33 and a second guide part 34 by the rotations of the switching arm 21.
