A wiper apparatus is provided to easily exchange a wiper blade by separating and freely rotating first and second wiper arms. A wiper apparatus includes a first arm(12), a second arm(14), a wiper blade, a tensile spring(16), an operation shaft(19), a pivot recess(23), a compression support spring(21), and a hook member(18). The first arm is rotatably connected by a pivot of a link assembly. The second arm is connected to be deflected by a hinge with respect to the first arm. The wiper blade is detachably mounted to the second arm. One side of the tensile spring is fixed to the second arm. The operation shaft is protected by the first arm. When the pivot recess accommodates an end of the operation shaft, the pivot recess allows the first arm to be fixed and rotated together with the pivot. When the end of the operation shaft is separated, the pivot recess allows the first arm to be idled on the pivot. The compression support spring applies a force so that the operation shaft can be inserted into the pivot recess. The hook member connects one end of the operation shaft and the free end of the tensile spring. |
