The method involves calling a terminal (10) to invite a user to acquire his biometric data on an acquisition module integrated to the terminal. The biometric data and biometric references of the user are compared by a biometric comparison module. The comparison result is notified to an access terminal (20), by a server (30) that communicates simultaneously with the terminal and the access terminal. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an access control system to a protected resource.
