摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay of start-up of a fuel cell and a reduction in power generation efficiency in a low-temperature environment and also suppress a reduction in power recovery rate by enabling warming of unit cells located at the ends of the fuel cell and cooling of a collector plate simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 comprises a fuel cell stack having a plurality of unit cells 2 stacked, and collector plates 5 disposed outside both ends of the fuel cell stack, the ends being opposed to each other in a direction in which the cells are stacked. The fuel cell 1 further comprises thermoelectric elements 10 disposed between the fuel cell stack and the respective collector plates 5.
