PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of detecting an input of a signal with a very small level at a high speed. SOLUTION: An input detection circuit 4 includes a signal conversion section 11 that receives signals S1, S2 and outputs signals S3, S4 changing in reverse directions to each other; and a detection section 12 that detects whether or not the level of the signals S1, S2 is a voltage VR between a constant level VR1 and a constant level VR2 or over applied to the signal conversion section 11 by each period of the signals S3, S4 in response to the signals S3, S4. The level of the signal S3 is shifted from a center level of the signals S1, S2 by a voltage -VR, and the center level of the signal S4 is shifted from the center level of the signals S1, S2 by a +VR. Since the voltage between the signals S3, S4 is greater than the voltage between the S1, S2, the input of the signals S1, S2 can be detected at a high speed on the basis of a change in the signals S3, S4.
