CONTROL METHOD OF REFRIGERATOR

A control method of a refrigerator is provided to operate cooling fans in the similar temperature ranges in association to reduce an entire driving time for the cooling fans and prevent over-cooling of an evaporator, thereby preventing efficiency decrease in refrigerating cycle caused by the lowered pressure of chilled air passing the evaporator. A control method of a refrigerator includes the steps of setting control temperatures for each storing chamber(S11), grouping the storing chambers into a plurality of groups according to temperature ranges of the set control temperature(S13), selecting one of the control temperatures as a reference control temperature(S21,S31), and sensing temperatures of the storing chambers(S22,S32). If the sensed temperatures are higher than the reference control temperature, the cooling fans of the corresponding storing chambers and grouped in the same group are driven in association(S23-S26/S33,S36).
