<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate restriction on design to an air bag door portion surface, to improve appearance, and to obtain stable breaking performance of a predetermined breaking part. <P>SOLUTION: An air bag door portion 7 is structured by single material of rigid resin. A breaking groove portion 9s is formed on a back surface of the air bag door portion 6 so as not to reach a surface and so as to pass through a lower side of recessed portions 5a and projecting portions 5b of a recessed/projecting pattern 5 on the surface. A thin-wall portion corresponding to the breaking groove portion 9a forms the predetermined breaking part 11. A recessed/projecting linear portion 12 wherein the recessed portions 12a and the projecting portions 12a are alternately and linearly aligned is formed on a bottom portion of the breaking groove portion 9a. The recessed portions 12a of the recessed/projecting linear portion 12 is made to correspond to the projecting portion 5b of the recessed/projecting pattern 5 above the recessed portions 12a, and the projecting portions 12b of the recessed/projecting linear portion 12 is made to correspond to the recessed portions 5a of the recessed/projecting pattern 5 above the projecting portions 12b, thereby setting the wall thickness of the predetermined breaking part 11 to be generally uniform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
