SLUDGE CONCENTRATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge concentration system where waste heat exhausted from a motor or a heat source in a fuel burning boiler is effectively utilized, and sludge produced in a water treatment facility or a sludge treatment facility of a factory can be efficiently treated.

SOLUTION: The sludge concentration system for treating sludge SW produced in the water treatment facility or the sludge treatment facility of the factory is equipped with: a gas turbine 1 for generating power; a waste heat boiler 2 for generating steam S or warm water with an exhaust gas EG in the gas turbine 1 as a heat source; a sludge concentration apparatus 3 for introducing the steam S or hot water as a heat source and performing the evaporation and concentration of the sludge SW; and a sludge drying apparatus 4 for drying the evaporated and concentrated sludge cake SC with the exhaust gas EG discharged from the waste heat boiler 2 as a heat source. It is possible to use the fuel burning boiler 20 as substitute for the gas turbine 1 and the waste heat boiler 2.
