<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image recording/reproducing device corresponding to multiple channels that can reduce hardware resources without deteriorating a frame rate to a maximum extent. <P>SOLUTION: The video image recording/reproducing device includes a first resolution-conversion means, which converts the resolution of video image data of a prespecified number of channels to the resolution of video image data different in screen size while guaranteeing the quality of a processing time or the like, and a second resolution-conversion means for converting the resolution of the video image data to the resolution of the video image data different in screen size to the best within calculation resources without guaranteeing the quality of the processing time or the like. A video image recording/reproducing means controls so as to switch the resolution conversion of a prescribed channel using the first resolution-conversion means to the resolution conversion by the second resolution-conversion means if there is no available first resolution-conversion means when recording and reproducing a new channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
