PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication adapter capable of improving portability and convenience. SOLUTION: The communication adapter 4 is provided with a battery cover part 3 constituted detachable from a fitting part 2a formed on a casing body 2 of a cellular phone 1; and a communication function part 13, stored in a storage part 3b formed in the battery cover part 3 and is capable of controlling the corresponding locking/unlocking apparatus by wirelessly communicating with the locking/unlocking apparatus.
