A massage machine (10) having a drive shaft (20) driven in normal and reverse directions, a pair of inclining shafts (22a, 22b) fixed to both ends of the drive shaft (20), at an arbitrary inclination against the axial direction of the drive shaft (20), a pair of right and left treatment units (5) including treatment elements (50) and respectively idleably coupled to the outer circumferential surfaces of the pair of inclining shafts (22a, 22b), and a switchover means for switching the position of one (22b) of the pair of inclining shafts (22a, 22b) around the axis of the one (22b) of the pair. The treatment units (5) have swing arms (51) each rotatably coupled at one end to the outer circumferential surface of the inclining shaft (22a, 22b), and also have supporting arms (52) each coupled to the other end of the swing arm (51) and to which each supporting arm the treatment elements (50) are installed at an interval in the vertical direction. The distance from the drive shaft (20) to the treatment elements (50) in the massage machine (10) is increased because of the presence of the swing arms (51), and because upper and lower treatment elements (50) fixed to each supporting arm (52) operate in the same direction, the operation range of the treatment elements (50) increases, which gives highly satisfactory massage sensation to a person to be treated.
