An image forming apparatus is provided to exactly set a location of a home position by determining an optimum length of a home mark, thereby improving reliability of image quality. An image forming apparatus comprises the followings: plural developers; a cam shaft(120) having plural cams(131) each corresponding to the plural developers; an interrupter which is for interrupting driving force transmitted to the cam shaft(120), and includes a spring clutch having plural combining units topologically corresponding to the plural cams(131), and also includes an actuator for selectively operating the spring clutch by being selectively combined with the plural combining units; a home position unit(132) which is installed in the cam shaft(120) and has a home mark(133) for indicating a home position; and a sensor(140) for detecting the home mark(133).
