摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve complicity in an optimum sensitivity determination procedure generated in a sensitivity control method by changing an injection or atomizing amount, in a conventional instrument for measuring a particle size distribution, to prevent a change in the particle size distribution of a measured particle group in a sample flow accompanied to sensitivity control, and to improve disturbance in mutual comparison of data. SOLUTION: The sample flow 5N is injected from a nozzle 11N with an elliptical injection port 21, the sample flow 5N distributed in a distribution range 22 of the sample flow 5N in a laser beam passing area, i.e. an elliptical range having a major axis a and a minor axis b is rotated by rotating the nozzle 11N, i.e. the injection port 21, and an optical path length of a laser beam crossed with the sample flow 5N is regulated smoothly within a range from the major axis a to the minor axis b.
