APPARATUS, PROGRAM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting design and manufacture capable of summing up the maximum content for each of a plurality of chemical substances in the case that there are a plurality of candidate parts and displaying the result of sum-up in order so as to be able to compare a plurality of company purchase parts and the plurality of chemical substances on a parts list.

SOLUTION: An apparatus for supporting design and manufacture comprises: a present company/client company parts number correspondence storage device for storing the correspondence of the parts numbers of present company parts and client company parts; a present company parts list storage device for storing the constitution of the parts of present company products; a client company parts list storage device for storing the configuration of the parts purchased from client companies; a representative parts creation device for creating representative parts from the correspondence of present company parts numbers and client company parts numbers stored in the present company/client company parts number correspondence storage device; and a parts list creation device for creating the parts list from the representative parts created in the representative parts creation device, a present company parts list stored in the present company parts list storage device and a client company parts list stored in the client company parts list storage device.
