PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optoelectronic device, the optoelectronic device, a seal mask and a sealing material printing device by which a display area is sufficiently secured and a substrate is prevented from upsizing. SOLUTION: When the sealing material is formed on a mother substrate S, gaps 121a, 121b are linearly provided at corner parts 123a, 123b of a seal pattern 120, when the mother substrate on the side of a color filter and an active matrix type mother substrate are joined together and stuck together by pressure, crushed sealing materials 120a, 120b spread so as to seal the gaps 121a, 121b and the respective sides of the sealing materials 120a, 120b do not unevenly spread.
