AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMOBILE

An automobile air conditioning system is provided to connect drain parts of a casing of the air conditioning system and a protecting cover in a drain structure for preventing leakage of condensed water and overcoming limits in the layout. An automobile air conditioning system includes a casing(200) having inlet and outlet terminals respectively formed with an inlet and an outlet, and formed with a first drain part(202) at a lower position for discharging condensed water. A heater core and an evaporator are mounted on an air path in the casing and having inlet and outlet pipes(212a,212b) for a heat exchange medium. A drain hose(240) connects the first drain part of the casing to a second drain part(236), which is formed in a protecting cover(230) mounted at a lower part of the casing for surrounding the inlet and outlet pipes. The protecting cover has a condensed water discharge pipe(238) connected to the second drain part and exposed to the outside.
