<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator's side of a retrieval service system to confirm that a telephone call by the click of a telephone number described after a "telto" tag, and to surely charge ad rates to an advertiser. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminal 10 transmits a retrieval keyword to a retrieval service provision server 30. The retrieval service provision server 30 retrieves information based on the retrieval keyword. In addition, the retrieval service provision server 30 acquires advertisement data and a telephone number of the advertiser related to the keyword, describes a retrieval result and advertisement data in an HTML form, describes the telephone number following the "telto" tag and further describes a URL and a telephone number for transmitting a telephone call log to the retrieval service provision server 30 when the telephone call is performed by the user terminal 10 after the telephone number.
