摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The plate has a set of optical fibers, each with a tubular plating (21) surrounding a core (20) of the fiber, where the optical fiber core extends between light input and light output surfaces. The upper portion of each plating is filled with an optically absorbing material (40) e.g. optically absorbing polymer or metallic oxide, which surrounds the core adjacent to the input surface. The platings surround the core between an end of the material and the output surface.
