A method for providing a caller ID of a mobile terminal is provided to solve a problem that the contents should be selected and set one by one in order to provide various contents corresponding to phone numbers of transmission mobile terminals. At least one folder corresponding to a phone number of a transmission terminal is set(S110). It is checked whether a call is received from the transmission mobile terminal(S120). When a call is received, a phone number of the transmission mobile terminal is detected from the received call(S130). A folder corresponding to the detected phone number of the transmission mobile terminal is searched(S140). At least one or more contents stored in the searched folder are outputted(S150).
