PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air vent valve with a simple structure and superior durability, superior in operation certainty of automatically carrying out air venting without malfunction such as biting of foreign matter. SOLUTION: The air vent valve 1B has a casing 30, a float chamber 1 formed in the casing 30, a valve seat provided in an upper end side of the float chamber 31, and a float valve element 33 housed in the float chamber 31 and capable of approaching and separating away from the valve seat 32. A plurality of coupling members 34 is provided for coupling the casing 30 and the float valve element 33, and it is composed to allow movement of the float valve element 33 in a vertical direction with respect to the casing 30, and to regulate movement in a horizontal direction. Instead of the coupling members 34, it is also favorable to form three or more vertical guide ribs guiding the float valve element 33 on an inner wall surface of the float chamber, or it is also favorable to form three or more vertical guide ribs protruding from an outer circumferential face of the float valve element.
