PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an AC power relay with a simple configuration that is hardly affected by reduction in power supply voltages such as instantaneous voltage drop. SOLUTION: An auxiliary electromagnet 22 attracting the armature 24 toward the electromagnet 18 by a force smaller than that of a biasing force by the first contact piece 26 is installed to the AC power relay 10 provided with an electromagnet 18, an armature 24 attracted to the electromagnet 18 when an AC voltage is applied to the electromagnet 18, a first contact piece 26 for biasing the armature 24 in the direction of separating the armature 24 from the electromagnet, and a contact 30 changing switching state in compliance with the armature 24 attracted to the electromagnet 18.
