PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content integration method with a format and protocol conversion. SOLUTION: Media contents are converted from a variety of input data formats into data formats accepted by a user's available output device, and converted into protocols that can communicate with the user's devices. The contents are acquired from remote sources and delivered to the user. A multimedia device supports an interactive use and generates a content by purchasing the multimedia content with a user's consent. The method receives a plurality of media source signals and a plurality of user device signals and integrates the user device signals with the media source signals to form an integrated signal. The format of the media source signal can be converted, the integrated signal is sent to the user device via various protocols, and conversion can also be performed between the various protocols.
