PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage equipment capable of enhancing the conveying capacity. SOLUTION: A plurality of moving bodies 4 are provided in a horizontally moving state on the same track 7. Two moving bodies 4 adjacent to each other in the horizontally moving direction can locate article transfer means 12 provided thereon in a vertically overlapping manner. When a plurality of articles are transferred with a plurality of storage parts at the same position in the right-to-left direction of shelves and at the different position in the vertical direction of shelves being transfer object out of a plurality of storage parts, a control means locates the article transfer means 12 provided on the two moving bodies 4 on each article transfer position on the shelf side corresponding the storage part of the transfer object in a vertically overlapping manner, and executes the simultaneous transfer for controlling the horizontal movement of the plurality of moving bodies 4, the elevating/lowering operation of the plurality of article transfer means, and the transfer operation of the plurality of article transfer means 12 so as to transfer the articles to the storage parts for transfer object by the article transfer means 12.
