<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques to control behavior of a light-emitting element such as an organic light emitting diode element and to suppress both of blur in a moving picture and flicker. <P>SOLUTION: Each pixel circuit 60 allows a light-emitting element 63 to emit light at a luminance corresponding to a data signal X. An image processing device 10 generates an intermediate image E1 from an original image V1. A data line driving circuit 36 supplies a data signal X corresponding to the original image V1 to pixel circuits 60 in odd rows, and supplies a data signal Xj corresponding to the intermediate image E1 to pixel circuits 60 in even rows.
