GAS CLEANING DEVICE AND FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cleaning device and a flue gas desulfurization system capable od efficiently eliminating sulfur oxides and particulates such as dust and mist in an exhaust gas.

SOLUTION: The gas cleaning device cleaning sulfur oxides in the exhaust gas 11 is arranged in a gas cleaning tower 12 and is provided with a group of passages with both end openings 14 comprising by housing a plurality of gas flow passages in a package 17 with both ends opening 13 extending in a vertical direction. A water supply part 16 supplying water 15 for producing sulfuric acid from the upper part of the group of passages with both the end openings 14. An amount of water 15 supplied from the water supply part 16 is 50-250 L/m2/h.
