PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen mask and a component mounting method whereby a solder paste applied to the front surface of a circuit board is prevented from so arriving on the rear surface of the circuit board via through-holes as to protrude from the rear surface, when loading an electronic component on the front surface of the circuit board, in the circuit board of the through-holes existing in the region of a loading land for loading thereon the electronic component. SOLUTION: A screen mask 2 is used when subjecting to a screen printing a circuit board 1 having a loading land 13 for loading thereon an electronic component 3 and having through-holes 15 formed in the loading land 13. A loading opening 23 is provided in the position corresponding to the loading land 13, and a mask member 25 for choking therewith the through-holes 15 is provided in the loading opening 23.
