PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article capable of storing ironing appliances and securing a working posture easy to work for a worker in a wagon for an ironing board allowing the user to mount the ironing board thereon and execute ironing work. SOLUTION: This wagon 20 for the ironing board comprises a top board 21 detachably mounted with the ironing board 10, a storage shelf 22 supporting one side in the longitudinal direction of the top board 21, and a support leg 23 supporting the other side of the longitudinal direction of the top board 21. The shelf 22 is attached turnably around a rotary shaft 36 approximately perpendicular to the top board 21 and this wagon is further provided with a lock mechanism retaining the relative position of the shelf 22 and the top board 21 between a closed state where the shelf 22 and the top board 21 are superposed in the whole part in the plan view and an open state where the shelf 22 and the top board 21 are partially overlapped in the plan view by rotating the shelf from the closed state by a prescribed angle. A projection 37 is provided on the upper face of the shelf 22 and the arc-shaped guide groove 37 for fitting the projection 37 therein is provided on the undersurface of the top board 21.
