<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt jointing apparatus and a jointing method of a rubber sheet in which a jointed part does not rise. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber sheet jointing apparatus is provided with a first holding means 21 of releasably holding a joint end portion of one rubber sheet, a second holding means 22 of releasably holding the other joint end portion of another rubber sheet provided movably relative to the first holding means 21 and first operating means 47, 48 of pressure-contacting one jointing end part of the sheet and the other jointing end part of the other rubber sheet which are respectively held by the first and second holding means by relatively moving the second holding means to the first holding means. On mutually facing surfaces of the first holding means and the second holding means, holding portions 31, 32, 45, 46, are respectively formed as each rugged portions of a comb tooth shape to mesh each other to overlap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
