PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transmit a message to a recipient without speaking words to an automatic answering telephone function during a telephone call. SOLUTION: A communication terminal device is equipped with a fixed-form message storage and reproduction section 8 which stores and reproduces fixed-form messages, a storage and reproduction control section 7 which controls the operation of the fixed-form message storage and reproduction section 8, a display section 5 which displays operation choices related to the fixed-form messages, and a communication control section 9 which disconnects communication at the end of reproduction of a fixed-form message. The storage and reproduction control section 7 displays operation choices at the display section 5 in response to an automatic answering telephone function of a calling destination, reproduces a corresponding fixed-form message by the fixed-form message storage and reproduction section 8 according to a choice indicated by the user through an input section 6, and transmits the reproduced fixed-form message as speech information to the calling destination.
