PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating drill, restraining vibration propagation to a body frame to lessen discomfort and fatigue of a worker even if large pressing force is applied to the body frame. SOLUTION: This vibrating drill includes: an axially movable spindle 17 driven in rotation by a motor; a first ratchet 34 bonded on the spindle 17; a second ratchet 35, which is unrotatable and movable in the axial direction; a spring 43 for energizing the second ratchet 35 to the first ratchet 34 side; and a body frame 2 housing a motor, the spindle 17, the first ratchet 34, the second ratchet 35, and the spring 43, wherein the body frame 2 is provided with a support member 38 supporting one end on the counter-second ratchet side of the spring 43, and the support member 38 is provided with an O-ring (an elastic member) 41 gradually increased in contact area when the compression of the spring 43 is advanced by the axial movement of the second ratchet 35.
