AUTOMATIC RE-REGISTERATION METHOD IN MEDICAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM

An automatic re-registration method in a medical navigation system is provided to maintain accuracy of a navigation of the medical navigation system by correcting the changed contents. An automatic re-registration method in a medical navigation system(2) includes the steps of: seizing a relative position between a reference frame(4) and an auxiliary reference frame(50) through a sensing unit; seizing whether a change in the relative position between the reference frame(4) and the auxiliary reference frame(50) exists or not through the sensing unit; and correcting an error of a correlation between image data and a patient(1) by using the seized change, wherein the relative position of the auxiliary reference frame(50) for the sensing unit is calculated.
