An un-looped strip of material, such as a car boot seal 26, has a sealing foil 35 bonded to one end only of the strip, in a first bonding process. The strip is then looped, such as into position around boot hinges 27, which hinges would normally prevent the loop from being bonded end to end until the strip is already in situ in the boot. In a separate invention, a second bonding process is applied to complete the loop in once it is in place and looped within the boot. |
