PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a terminal in an unused state by preventing seizure of a visual display section of the terminal that is a component of a telephone exchange system and has the visual display section. SOLUTION: The terminal is provided with a terminal use state detection means 301 that detects non-operation for a prescribed time, a display section extinction and restoration means 302 that controls an extinct state of a visual display section, a line incoming call detection means 303 that detects an incoming call arrived to an accommodated line, an incoming line identification means 304 that identifies whether or not the incoming call line is a line whose extinct state is relieved, an automatic start means 305, a display page selection means 307 that displays a page on which an incoming call line is described onto the visual display section, and an extinct state display means 308 the displays an extinct state of the visual display section. When the terminal is not in use, the visual display section is put out and the extinct state is automatically released when an incoming call reaches a prescribed line and the line page is displayed. |
