METHOD OF EVALUATING FLARE AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A method and an apparatus for evaluating flare are provided to numerically represent flare generated in an accomplished image module to quantitatively evaluate the flare. A flare evaluating method includes steps of taking a picture of a to-be-evaluated object while varying an angle between an image module to be evaluated and the optical axis of a light source at a predetermined interval(S1), commonly setting a data sampling point at a position having a predetermined distance from the center of the acquired image(S2), and acquiring data about light at the data sampling point of the plurality of acquired images(S3). The data about light is intensity. The data sampling point corresponds to an edge located distant from the center of the image.
