FIELD: processes and equipment for grooving armature commutators of DC electric machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes disc for step rotation of armature having uniformly arranged slits and unit for driving said disc through chain and wedge-belt transmission from driving spindle of machine tool. At opposite sides relative to slits of said disc laser light source and photodiode are arranged in the same plane. In order to realize armature rotation drive system, machine tool is provided with self-centering semi-couplings. In order to control reciprocation motion of support of milling cutter and step rotation of armature, machine tool is provided with reed type limit switches and switching devices operating at time moments of matching of light of laser source with photodiode through slits of step disc and in time moment when milling cutter achieves limit initial position. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of step rotation of armature, possibility for correcting rotation angle regardless from number of commutator plates, remote control of grooving process. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
