A manufacturing apparatus of an LCD and a manufacturing method of an LCD are provided to prevent thermal deformation of a plastic substrate material by closely stacking a transfer photoresist film on a substrate for an LCD panel. A first support member(10) receives and supports a substrate (200) and a transfer photoresist film(300) placed on the substrate. A second support member(20) faces the first support member. An elastic member(30) is placed on a surface of the second support member and closely attaches the transfer photoresist film onto the substrate. A driving unit(60) allows the first support member and the second support to approach each other or space them apart from each other. A vacuum chamber(40) receives the first support member and the second support member.
