<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out reduction of a stalling area and suppression of peeling in a wall surface neighborhood of each member composing a cross flow fan without imparting a factor to be a load in a flow area of the cross flow fan in an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with an indoor unit 20 having: a heat exchanger 7 carrying out heat exchange with sent in air; and the cross flow fan 8 sending air to the heat exchanger 7. The cross flow fan 8 is composed of: a plurality of blades 8b at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction; and a partition plate 8c partitioning the blade 8b in its axial direction.
