<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader capable of continuing reception without re-executing a reception process even in a state where reception of a signal from a non-contact type card is originally disabled. <P>SOLUTION: A reader/writer 34 receives a radio signal transmitted from an IC card 2, one by a reception path 41A having a transmission/reception antenna circuit 95 and the other by a reception path 41B having an reception antenna circuit 95.
