PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor providing desirable air volume characteristic by increasing an intake air amount to a fan blade and a reduction in noise. SOLUTION: The curvature of a front surface 33A on the side of the intake part 21 of the fan blade 5 and that of a front surface 33B on the side of a peripheral part 22 are not the same, but different from each other. Therefore, by these front surfaces 33A, 33B, not only air F is simply pushed out in the peripheral direction of the fan blade 5, but also intake air toward the fan blade 5 is promoted. Since the air F taken into the fan blade 5 flows along the inner surface of a ring 51 without flowing out of an end face crossing perpendicularly to an air blowing direction, it can be exhausted at low noise without interfering with a member surrounding the fan blade 5.
