<p>This invention provides a method for separating and analyzing an anionic compound by combining capillary electrophoresis with mass analysis. The method comprises the step of setting, as an anode, the inlet side for a migration liquid in a capillary filled with the migration liquid and setting, as a cathode, the outlet side, applying voltage to the capillary to conduct electrophoresis of a sample containing an anionic compound, the electrophoresis being carried out so that the absolute value of the mobility of electro-osmosis flow generated upon the application of voltage exceeds the absolute value of the mobility of the electrophoresis of at least one anionic compound in the sample; and the step of subjecting the anionic compound in the sample migrated to the outlet of the capillary to mass analysis.</p> |
