<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a mounting line that can suppress a decrease in production efficiency even against unpredictable disturbance. <P>SOLUTION: Operation times needed to perform mounting operations to which respective mounting machines are assigned are detected during a production operation, and it is judged whether the operation times of the respective mounting machines meet designated allowable conditions. If some mounting machine requires an operation time which is too long to meet the allowable conditions owing to disturbance such as a shortage of a component, part or the whole of the mounting operation allocated to the mounting machine is transferred to other mounting machines. Consequently, a decrease can be suppressed in production efficiency of the whole mounting line as the mounting machine to which the disturbance occurs becomes a bottleneck. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
